12 Days of Giving the Gift of Love Challenge

Writer's picture: Rachel JonesRachel Jones

"On the 12th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me..."

We are giving our spin on this challenge, because if you've ever seen The Office Episode on actually giving the 12 Days of Christmas Gifts from the song, you know they are not the gifts we actually want this time of year.

So here is a more connective, safe, and loving challenge for you to implement this holiday season!

  1. Write a love letter to your partner. Fill it with intimate thoughts and feelings.

2. A list of all the reasons you love them. Similar to the love letter but more bullet journal style.

3. Plan a date whether it be at home or out of the home. Find some quality time together.

4. Pick a new holiday movie or re-watch a classic snuggling up together.

5. Baby it's cold outside, so stay in and have some fun together.

6. Don't forget the power of a good makeout session. Surprise your partner or invite them into some good kissing together.

7.Help your partner ease the stress of the season with a rub down.

8. Encourage your partner to take a break. Set them up to have some solo-time in a way the is enjoyable for them.

9. Hug it out for at least 20-seconds. Hold one another and enjoy the time connected.

10.Get the ingredients together to make them a meal that they love!

11 Take something off their to-do list and ease the stress.

12. Take over the chore list and remove one that you know is their least favorite.

We are biased since we created this challenge, but we definitely agree the gifts that keep on giving are better than the more expensive ones.

Go love and care for your partner this holiday season! Remember to make this challenge your own-modify, replace, and get creative to find ways to love your partner through this season!
